An Emergency Upgrade

EMS Director Tom Boyer says, “This building is more modern, laid out better and more efficient for EMS. People can do what they need to do and not be tripping over someone. All of the staff approve of the new building.”

A new Emergency Medical Services building for the Baldwin Area EMS was long overdue. They had been in the previous building for over 10 years and were outgrowing it in more ways than one. Years of discussion among the Village Board finally came to fruition last summer when the board approved the financing and construction of a new building started. This new building allows for more privacy in their workspaces, larger dining and sleeping capacities, and a training room that can hold all of their staff as well as accommodate to the many aspects of training. Their team can now be more efficient and organized with ample storage solutions and smart workspaces that make their job easier.
